Thumbs up Basic Stuff + Warrenty

I went into Sunset Ford in St. Louis MO today for an oil change and tire rotation. They have a package called "The Works". Really, I only only go to the dealer, cause I figure if they screw anything up they have to fix it on the spot since it's under warranty. In actuality that's probably not true, but it makes since in my head. Anyway, I went in thinking that it would be $49.95 + Tax.

Okay, so I had The oil changed, the tires rotated (air filled and rotated), fluids topped off and brakes checked. They also replaced my leaking driver's side headlight which had started holding water (It had about 3" from the bottom!) and they ordered a new driver's side F-150 badge which had started to peel. They also offered me a free wash and vacuum. I said sure, why not. To be honest I was only expecting them to run her through the wash. They did, but then they went back and detailed the wheels and got all the brake dust off (they did pretty damn well for a free wash!).

All this and they used my Owner Advantage Program and they took $20 off. My total was $30 and some change. Oh, they didn't have the the badges in stock so they ordered them for me. But I would have been happy for $50; but for $30 I'm damn impressed.

I know most people don't rave about the dealer, but like I said I'm damn impressed! Good Work Guys!

Nice! Bankston Ford(formerly County Line Ford) has treated me very well, too. Always discount the oil changes and they changed out my plugs without a problem!

Update:
I went back today. My driver's side emblem was starting to peel. I wasn't planning on saying anything seeing as I was planning on doing some overlays, but apparently they ordered the badges the other day. So I went in this morning to fix that and they noticed that my passenger's side headlight was starting to leak (not quite as bad as the driver's side one was doing, but some none the less). So they said that they would fix it too. They asked me if I had some time, because they had to source the lamp. I said Yeah, why not, I don't have to be t work until 3, so o for it. I'm not sure exactly how they go a hold of one, another dealer or? But instead of making me come back a second time they just took care of it.
Good Job Guys!

Oh, btw, If you need parts there I talked to Mindy and she was really helpful.

You need to send this to Ford, and to the President/Owner of the dealership. It's not often they get to hear good things from satisfied customers.

Do you know how they handle aftermarket warranties? When I bought my truck in Oklahoma, the Ford dealership offered me National Auto Car, NAC. He said all the Ford dealerships should honor it.

I am having issues with all of my passenger power window switches. All of the switches on the driver side door panel work great, but the passenger and rear doors are having issues.

Sorry OP, not trying to hijack.
