Hey Mike - Shipment arrived!

'Dale' just drove up and dropped off the goods. The box looked like it went thru WWIII but the innerds were fine. Was expecting a LOT bigger boxes

I think it's comical how on the tuner box it says "The One that Works!" heh heh.

Thanks again for the FAST order/shipment....looking forward to getting the job done! Will be able to post comments on tuner at least this Sunday when I return from a camping/concert trip (Aerosmith, Kid Rock, Run DMC )

*edit*
Just installed the new program....tuner works awesome..so easy...hardest part was getting the fuse box lid open! lol

Took it for a short little drive..didn't hit it hard, but the shifting is so smoothe and steady....just no drop or dead spots...runs sweet.

Glad to see Dale drove the big brown truck to your house and make a speedy delivery.

Hi Bart,

You lucky rascal, Aerosmith, Kid Rock, & Run DMC are all playing where you're going?!?

I'm not a big rap fan (these days, liked a lot of the early stuff), but Run DMC's remake in collaboration with Aerosmith on "Walk This Way" relaunched Aerosmith's career, & they haven't missed a lick since, every album has been *way* multi-platinum. Aerosmith is one of the best rock acts to see, no question!

Glad everything arrived on time & intact, have fun this weekend!

The concert was in Alpine Valley..East Troy, WI. (just a bit W of Milwaukee) about 60k good ol boys n girls...what a freakin' good time it was....just got back, The truck's intact...Im a wreck but well worth it....Kid Rock put on a great show, and Aerosmith was fantastic of course.

Having that tuner program in the truck was great....could honestly feel a bit of difference on passing and acceleration thru all the shift points. Very satisfied with it.

One question I had was, and I don't know if this has been answered...but say downt the road in ten years or whatever, when I buy a new ford F150....can the tuner be upgraded with new programs for future model years?

Thanks again.

Hi Bart,

I'd like to have been there, I've never see Kid Rock other than on SNL, etc.

We don't know what future vehicles are going to be like 10 years from now, if they use the same OBD-II port, that could well be possible. Many people have indeed taken their Superchip and had it reprogrammed for their next vehicle, that can be done as long as the next new vehicle has the same basic powertrain mgmt. systems & we can communicate with them the same way. If so, then the same device can be reprogrammed to work on them. So we'll just have to see what the future brings!
