So I've had the micro tuner about five days. Just enough time for it to get settled in. Now one of the claims that is made besides better performace is better fuel economy. I have to warn everyone out there that's considering this purchase that it's just not true. You see, you can't seem to keep your foot out of the accelerator. What with the additional horse power and the MUCH better shifting...... If there's a Chevy or Dodge in sight, I have to be in front of it. I wouldn't want to deprive them of seeing the back end of my beautiful SuperCrew now would I?

Anyone that's considering the purchase of a Superchips Micro Tuner gets my recommendation. Further, (to sound like an echo of most other posts on this forum) Mr. Troyer and staff gave me excellent customer service. It's rare in my experience to get that quality of service over the phone from the opposite end of the country. Mike, thanks a lot. I'm lovin' the truck even more than before.

 

If you have more self control than I do, I suppose you will get better fuel economy. Of course, if that's what I was really concerned about I suppose I'd be driving a Fiesta right?

 

More power, better performance and better fuel mileage? Asking for much?

Sure all three would be great but doesn't seem all that reasonable. I'll thake the power and performance, thank you very much!

As soon as I saw it, I thought "Oh boy, here we go, someone's PO'd because they didnt get 4 more mpg." (which will never happen, of course)
