Chip dibi dip ??

Just took the chip out and did not find a loss of power.........
The shift points where 1 to 2nd 5100 rpm 2 to 3rd 4600 rpm on the track... And it it was the same with the chip..." i did take the negative´s out on the batteri" Can the reason be some mods since i bought the chip or can the chip not be working i never really found a bigg diff after it was installed 2 years ago..
I think my chip comes tru UK via internet...
Thanks Röggi.
On the Chip it says VERSION 1,2

PS.. Also thinking about our gas 95 to99+ Oktane..????
and is it possible to send information like i got mine ....

Hi Roggi,

I've never seen a Superchip not raise power and reduce aclleration times, and I doubt that is actually happening in your case, either, unelss you have made modifications that require custom tuning and have no had that custom tuning done.

It could very easily be just a simple matter of your vehicle is just so heavy you're not feeling a big difference seat of the pants, which is just anotehr reminder of why it's a mistake to try to evaluate parts by seat of the pants, especially in heavy vehicles like F-150's, Expeditions, etc. That should be done via track testing in direct back-to-back controlled format to test acceleration times.

You could have done modifications that are not compatible with the tuning in a "standard" Superchip perhaps, that is certainly possible. If you change the MAF (mass airflow meter) and don't have it tuned for, that alone can cause big problems.

The bottom line is, you need to talk to your tuner, so you need to call whoever provided you with your Superchip on teh telephone and go over all the exact modifications you have made and see if any need to be tuned for, that's the first place to start.

Good luck!
