No, a performance chip is *not* going to shorten the life of your engine.
The Superchip is hands down the best product on the market, it's the only performance chip that tunes each vehicle individually according to it's exact software revision inside it's ECU, that tunes for maximum horsepower and torque all the time at any throttle postion, and that is still 50-state emissions certified. No other chipmaker does all of that, only Superchips.
Take some time to read over the threads in this section of the message boards, and you'll disccover a world of information that will help you in your decision. Read the posts from the people who have actually spent their hard-earned money on the product, see what they have to say about using the Superchip.
Rather than sound like an endless commercial pushing the product that we sell, I'll close by saying this: we don't care what brand name is on the outside, we only care about the results from the actual product *inside*, so if another company had superior programming/tuning skills and/or got better results, we'd be using them instead of Superchips.
