Thumbs up Mike Troyer and Superchips Dist.

Spoke with Mike today for about an hour, learned a tremendous amount and got a great deal on some mods for my 99" Lightning.

I may be new to the board and to Lightnings but I've been in the performance business for many (20+) years. Mike has the customer relations stuff figured out. He is knowledgable and informed on all the tuning issues. Mike is easy to talk to, not like some of the folks in the industry who make you feel like your bothering them.

Best of all HE CALLED ME BACK. I highly recommend speaking with Mike prior to spending your hard earned money. He will focus your spending on the best bang for the buck. Mike is an asset to the industry.

NOTE TO TUNER SALES FOLKS: spend time with your customers, call them back, talk them out of things they don't need even if you lose a sale and they might just spend some money with you.

Mike is a terrific guy... I also spent an hour discussing things with him...even gave him some tech help for his lightning... wonder if that tip I gave him is working? lol. We are sure to continue discussion about his products and the continual mods of my truck.

I have been telling all about Mikes services. In my 50 + years I
have never met an individual with the knowledge, and willingness to give it, that he has.
I had an oppurtunity to spend an afternoon with him a few months ago, and left with at years worth of information.
I have, and will continue to puchase ALL the components for my
Lightning from him.

(Sigh...........)

As I read thru these posts, I started blushing, as I was humbled and grateful to have people say such nice things.

Then I saw Chickears post, at which point I was ROFLMAO! Thanks Tim!

Thanks everyone, that is more than kind of you all. I can only hope we live up to those accolades.

And to BTB, no, I haven't had a chance to try that trick yet, as I wanted to hopefully do some individual cylinder data logging to actually document this, so I need to get that setup first, and I'm working on that now. I also need to get a set of blueprinted injectors as well, which will be on the way shortly, as when we attack this, I intend to get it solved in one session. I want to eliminate any variables in troubleshooting that lean condition on light-throttle in 2 cylinders. It's not bad by any means, but in reading the plugs you can see a difference on 2 of them, and it's happening only during closed-loop, not when the hammer is down.

Which reminds me, when we spoke I didn't think to ask you .......................when you had a lean cylinder, did you guys determine whether it was happening only during closed-loop operation, or if you got the lean condition also when you nailed the throttle under load as well, just curious.

Thanks everyone!
