When do the 5-spd v-6 rev limiter kick in.....because i have never hit it.....and what kind of preformance gains will i see out of a chip?

Rev limiters in the V-6's vary, it depends on what computer code that vehicle has.

The rev limiter you want to keep.

It's the top speed limiter you want to remove, that is a completely different function, and we do that already in the Superchip.

The maximum rated gains from the Superchip for a 4.2 V-6 F-150 are 25 horsepower and 31 lbs./ft,. of torque. How much you will gain exactly depends on your altitude and fuel quality, as well as just how healthy your individual engine is, there are always variances.

In round numbers, think of the Superchip as a 10%-12% power gainer, regardless of how much power it's making stock and regardless of altitude.
