Hi 5.0flairside,
No, that is not a correct computer code, but don't worry, we won't let you make a mistake if you're using our online ordering system, we'll catch any code errors & contact the customer before processing the order, each one is checked individually for all correct & needed information and your credit card is not charged until your Superchip actually ships.
What you have there is not the code we need, it's the first 4 digits of a 14-16 digit long calibration code.
To find yoiur computer code, the first place to look is to open the driver's door, and look in the front part of the door frame, in the area of the door hinges, for a sticker that has 3 letters followed by 1 number, usually 4 digits total, though some of the older trucks may have a 3-digit code.
If you don't see the code sticker there, then you can go to the ECU itself, just pull the driver's kick panel and you'll see the ECU mounted there behind the kick panel & the aluminum plate that the emergency brake pedal mounts to.
And if this is giving you a problem, that's OK we can help your code, just give us a quick call, our phone number is below & we're open Monday thru Friday from 10am to 7 pm Eastern.
Hang in there!
