Chip/Tranny!
I took my chip out this morning and my truck said Thank You! I have had my chip about 2 mounths and it shifts so hard now its like it jumps a foot in 1st and 2nd gear! So I called my tuner , the only one I have bought from and he wants 50 bucks to reburn! So now I'm upset. I don't know what else to do but sell the chip in the classifieds and write it off as a learning experiance. Anyone with ideas?
Or buy a Diablo Chip?

Hi Tim,
We're sorry to hear you're having a bad experience.
We don't have any knowledge of the details of what is happening in your case of course, but just to let you know in general, the manufacturer is usually willing to assist in these kinds of matters if their product is actually causing a problem; in your case, you mention that it's shifitng too hard with the chip installed, if I understand you correctly. You might want to drop by the Diablo web site (www.diablosport.com) and drop them a factual & polite email describing what's happening, & see where that takes you. You may find that they're willing to take care of this for you, or at least give you more detailed info, etc., it sure can't hurt!
Unless this is a custom program that was ordered with extra-firm shifting, usually the manufacturer will make an adjustment for you, as they don't want an inappropriately harsh shift characteristic either.
Good luck!
