Thanks Again Mike T.
Hi Mike,
I just wanted to say "Thank You" again for all your help!
You and your staff at Performance Products are some of the most courteous, professional,& knowledgeable people in your line of business that I know of. Of course, I think 99.9% of the members here at F-150 Online already know that.
If more people ran their business like you in this world, it would be a better place.
I've only been a member here since March of 2000 but you've always answered every question I had, no matter how repetitive the questions get. I know you answer the same questions over and over again from different members but it never seems to bother you. I guess when you like helping people it never gets old.
I bought my Superchip in July of 2000 and it worked great for me.
After I had my chip in for a long time I got the dreaded *no start* one night after a party. So, I took it out and the truck started right up. I figured it must be a contact problem and they needed to be cleaned better, so I cleaned them again and still got a *no start*. Now being an electrician, I figured if I clean the contacts all the way down to the copper and the Superchip contacts, being made of copper, that would be the ultimate connection.....WRONG! People, DON'T EVER DO THIS! I learned the hard way. I should have called Mike first, but I didn't, I went ahead and tried to fix it on my own.
To make a long story short, I called Mike. He and his friendly staff where more than helpful. I got a RMA#, returned the ECU & my Superchip at 3:30pm 3/19/02 and got it back by 9:00am 3/21/02. Thats less than 48 hrs time! I still can't believe it! I only had to pay for the shipping there. The chip is back in and running GREAT.
Thanks Again!

Hi MGD1,
Thanks for your post!
There was a problem with a couple of the contacts, and that was taken care of for you & then overnighted back out to you.
Glad to see you're back to enjoying your Superchip!
