superchips guy! help!

vehicle description in signature, looking to buy your product, but hesitant to do so because i have to use 93 octane, quite a boost in gas money per year, will i get increased MPG to offset the increase in money i spend for gas? once again, i only have a K&N, no other mods, dont really plan on anything else for the engine/exhaust, just looking for better MPG/performance, thanks!

Hi pgh_medic,

Just so you'll know for future reference, anytime you really need fast communications with us you'll want to call, as if we don't see your post by the time we're here, then it won't get a response from us until we return the next day.

Yes, the Superchip requries premium gas, however, it doesn't cost nearly as much to operate as you think, many people don't spend $50 a year more for gas. Assuming the national average of 20 cents per gallon cost delta between regular & premium and driving 15,000 to 20,000 miles per year, your increased fuel costs to run the Superchip on premium are no more than $2-$3 a week, or $150 - $200 per year, and for many people, much less than that.

If you'd like to go over this in more detail, please feel free to give us a call & we'll be happy to go over the kinds of things you can do that will help in the mpg department, as well as get you more performance. The Superchip is an excellent place to start, and there are plenty of other things you can do as well.
