Kudos to Mike T (long)
After my dilema with purchasing a used flipchip off the classifieds that never arrived(another whole story), I called Mike T.
Since the price was going up on the flipchip on Feb 17th I called a couple hours before the deadline and ordered a new one. I wasnt able to get Mike T but was taken care of by Anita. Mike was swamped with all the orders before the price increase and was very busy on the floor. Anita was more than helpful and very pleasant to talk to. She got all my truck info and shipping info and it all went smoothly. I had ordered 2nd day to get it here sooner and was happy with it all. In my excitement I had forgotten to write down something and called back very shortly. Anita answered the phone and stated she was just getting ready to call since the UPS guy had just come and they were unable to get my order finished in time to ship. She apologized and asked if I wanted to change my shipping to reg to save me the money of it sitting over the weekend. Mind you this was shortly after I had first called in the order and they were apologizing for not getting my order done in time. I was amazed at how fast they had done it(order) and in no way expected a apology!!! This to me is GREAT customer service to start with and then to hear they were going to call me and apologize for shipping delay made it even more so.
Chip arrived Wed and the instructions made it a breeze to install. Unfortunately I had the lip on the bracket and this took the most time to cut and smooth down. Got the chip in and the truck fired right up. Since I had 1/4 tank of gas I drove around Wed night and Thurs in the 87oct side. Fri I drove the long way home to get the fuel light to come on and filled up with 93oct and flipped the switch. All I can say is WOW. The chip did exactly like all the members and Mike T said it would. Firmer shifting, more pep and definitely more partial and W.O.T response. I couldn`t believe I waited 1 1/2 yrs before getting this flipchip. Its like I have a new truck again!! If i had only ordered new first instead of trying to get a used one to try I could have had 2 weeks more of this driving fun.
Mike T has returned all e-mails, their customer service is superb, Anita was super to deal with and the chip is just awesome. If you have been thinking of putting one in call Mike T and they will treat you great and you will definitely enjoy the chip
