Fitch Fuel Catalyst?

I'm wondering if Mike or anyone else has any first hand knowledge about the Fitch fuel catalyst .

OK, I know it sounds like snake oil but does anyone *know* whether or not it works based on actual use or testing?

Hmm, not much interest here. I've spent a LOT of time researching this thing on the net and the funny thing is - everyone who has tried or tested the unit seems to verify the claims of the manufacturer, and those who have never used it unfailingly say "no way, doesn't work, snake oil" or "if it worked all of the major car manufacturers would install it from the factory".

If I can't find someone who's tried it and can say it's bogus I may just give it a go myself.

Thoughts?

It's the first I've heard of this. If it's new ( and works), maybe it needs some time to become known. I don't know though. It seems like there is a new product making extrordinary claims every day. I tend to be kind of scepticle. I am usually wrong about what works and what dosen't though. I don't think this one will work. So it probably will.

That's me though....

Gonna try it!

Since I have not been able to find any experience-based criticism of the product I have decided to give it a try. I'll get baseline mileage figures on it beforehand and then compare to mpg with the unit installed. Truck already has SuperChip, Gibson SweptSide catback, and Volant intake. Engine is 5.4L.

It'll be a couple of months 'til I have any data but I will post it here when I do.
