Best Price for Chips for a V6
Ok... X-mas is here and The In-Law wants a Chip for his F150. Here is where I go to get all my info for the truck so I'd thought I'd ask. Where is the Cheapest place to buy a chip? I don't care if it's Online or in NJ. I see someone here sells them is that the best deal? I just don't want to not shop around and just order from this guy and then see I over paid...

The Webmaster of F-150 Online implemented policies that prevent any of us from discussing pricing on these message boards years ago, to keep these message boards free of blatant commercial content. The Webmaster doesn't want F-150 Online turning into another Ebay, or having price wars, etc., as a number of us pay very substantial sums for the right to market here. That is what pays F-150 Online's tremendous costs to keep this site in existence with it's 1000+ Gb. of data transfer & 25 million or more "hits" this site receives each month, the hosting costs alone are tremendous for a site of this size & activity level. So for any number of reasons, pricing is not allowed to be discussed on these message boards.
If you'd like to go over pricing for performance chips, please feel free to drop us an email or give us a call, & we'll be happy to go over pricing with you, for whatever product or vehicle type you need, and we offer generous F-150 Online discounts. We'll be more than happy to quote you, provide any suggestions or advice that may be needed, go over the modifications that have already been done to the vehicle as well as those that might be thought about in the future, to determine if custom programming will be needed, if anything needs to be done differently, etc. We also have an online ordering system here as well, the link to it is below in our signature line.

What I wrote in the E-mail was something to the effect of:
Do the Chips need to be programmed to the Mods that are on the truck? Or are other mods irrelevant to the chip?
Mods I have just ordered:
Stainless Steel Gibson Side Swept
Air Raid Intake
SuperChip
(If by chance anyone from my family reads this I would like a Y-Pipe for the Max for Christmas)
