Question To Mike T Or Anyone With Knowledge Of Superchips
Hello I just ordered a superchip using the F150online ordering program, on the order form I neglected to mention I have a K&N FIPK, and true dual flowmaster exhaust, as in two cats, and two seperate mufflers. Will this information be important to Mike and superchips, or does it not make that much of a difference? Any help would be appreciated. And if the additional mod's make a difference on programming the chip, how do I get it changed so i can get the most out of the chip, even though the order is already placed?
I asked the same question, and mods like the ari filter and cat-back do not require any custom programing.
If you have mods like a supercharger, larger MAF, etc. then a custom program on the chip will make a diffrence.

Hi F150Aggie,
Thanks for asking, and so you'll know right away, relax, you're OK, as dcovell correctly pointed out.
The only potential issue in your specific exhaust modifications where you have replaced the catalytic converters is the positioning of the O2 sensors, making sure that has not changed, and that you are not getting any check engine lights from that change. You don't mention any such problems, so I assume that means no check engine lights, in which case, we don't need to do anything different. You have both uypstream and downstream O2 sensors, the upstream unit is for engine A/F purposes, the downstream unit is there to check catalytic converter function.
Your K&N FIPK kit does not cause a need for any tuning changes, so you're in good shape there as well.
All in all, it looks like everything is just fine, so you don't need any custom programming & thus no changes need to be made to your order.
