Exclamation 2013 F-150 3.5 ecoboost Tuning Help

I have a 2013 F-150 3.5l Eco boost 88kmiles and I'm having issues with my truck when I tune it up.
here is a list of everything done to it
- 4Inch MBRP cat back exhaust system
- Edge cts3 Tuner
- S&B Cold Air intake
- BBK 73mm Throttle Body
The issue I'm having is when I choose any tune on the CTS3 anytime I get on it the truck misfires and has loss of power until I let off the throttle pedal and get on it again, The truck does not have a check engine light or code, and it only happens when I change the tune besides Stock. I have not checked my spark plugs yet because it only has this issue when its tuned, I also noticed when I got my exhaust system installed sometimes when I got on it It would have loss of power and then get back on it without any misfires like its having some kind of turbo back pressures issues, this was also before I got the tuner. is there a tune I can download online to help with this issue? I don't need to have my truck tuned on performance or anything I would just like to run the fuel millage tune without it having these issues. Hopefully someone can help me figure this out let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks
-Landon

If you have 40k or more on the spark plugs, change them. You also may need to drill a small condensate drain hole in the intercooler.

What you really need is a SCT programmer with CUSTOM tunes from one of the reputable tuning houses. Canned tunes don't always work properly, especially with the kind of mods you have done.

I will replace those spark plugs, will drilling a small weep hole in my intercooler cause any boost leak issues? and I know you recommended SCT tuner, but is there any tunes I can download for the CTS that are decent?

Nobody writes custom tunes for that Edge that I'm aware of, sorry. You will have a very slight boost leak, but nothing that you would notice.

^^^ What he said! And, I don't really see the advantage in having a "Cold Air Intake", which usually brings air in from a warmer part of the engine bay as opposed to the stock intake. Likewise, I don't see that you would get any gains from the throttle body.

The blowers on the Ecoboost are going to give you all the air the engine needs and a throttle body just tends to upset the fuel-air mixture ratio. A custom tune is needed to compensate for the confusion it causes. Edge, in their infinite wisdom decided that they would not allow custom tuning on their devices. They were concerned with custom tunes making the tunes fail to meet emission standards. But, as glc said, SCT devices CAN be custom tuned by reputable folks. 5-Star is one house that has a good reputation.

Understood, My S&B is a true cold air intake only getting air from the drivers side fender like stock but with more air flow, the only reason I installed it was for a little louder turbo whistle and it did just the job

Lttolsma,
I also have a 13 F-150 eco with just under 70,xxx miles on it. I went with 5* Livewire TS custom tunes. Mods include a catch can, an upgraded Mishimoto trans cooler, a Wagner intercooler, a 170 degree stat and GT colder plugs gapped @ .028. Have had a couple of revisions of the tunes and now that little 3.5L V6 turbo'd engine is just amazing. Nite & day difference from stock. & oh yeah, we tow a 5th wheel with it so the perf/tow tune ...awesome.
