is anyone selling and old tuner for an 03 f150 if so im interested

 

I use a 1715 Superchips on my stock 02 and I'm very pleased with the results of the tune. There might be some on ebay but make sure they are unlocked before buying.

 

I have a cold air intake also and possibly looking at long tube headers do u know how well that specific chip works with those mods and what have you experienced with the chip

 

I put 105,000 miles on my 2000 F150Scab4x4, 5.4 that was equipped the same as my 2002. It had noticeably more power than the 2002. Maybe the 2002 was tuned more for cleaner emissions. I don't know. Anyhow, the superchips 1715 87 octane tune on my 2002 unleashed about 20 more hp according to my butt meter and the throttle response was much improved. Fuel economy was slightly improved. I can't speak to what would happen with any mods. if you plan to do mods you should probably get a tune for that engine with the mods you install.
