I have an 09 f150. i want to take out my Catalytic converters and put in straight pipe i know the 02 sensor will throw a code and make my check engine light come on. I do have the bullydog gt tuner. is there a way I can turn of the light with the tuner?

 

Try replacing the rear O2 sensors with eliminator kits. Some people have had results with installing spark plug anti-foulers in the bungs and reinstalling the O2's into them. The only other way is with a decent programmer and custom tunes.

WHY do you want to pull the cats?

 

I already have a programmer it called bullydog gt.. I want to pull the cats because mine are going bad they want almost 800 to replace the 2 its cheaper to just take them out.

 

You will need to get CUSTOM tunes from a Bully Dog dealer.

 

You should check why they went bad.
