Hey lads... I use this forum a ton but never post. I have searched it from top to bottom (so I think) and can't find what I'm specifically looking for. Long story short. I have a 2005 fx4 crew 5.4 has had the trans rebuilt and a fresh reman long block as of 2k ago with all new bolt ons except ac and alt. New TB and maf has been cleaned and no apparent vacuum leaks. Runs better than it ever has. Except for the rpms are a bit low and the truck has a slight rough idle. I have no aftermarket parts. I have relearned the throttle body twice with over 100 miles each time. I started looking at tuners so I could adjust the rpms at idle in park and when I'm sitting at a stop light in drive it seems to dip below the 500 mark. I don't plan on doing a cai, catback or any or anything to the sort. This is my daily driver and do not tow anything but a camper/ and a little 5x8 aluminum trailer. I realize it's preference but would the edge cts be perfect for a simple guy with a simple pickup or is sct with custom tunes the way to go no matter what stock/aftermarket parts? As of right now the only thing I will do is put a different set of rims on it nothing to crazy from oEM. I do apologize for being repetitive on the subject. I forgot to mention this pickup has some hesitation when you go to get after it on the highway.
