I tried the trans performance settings of my Flashpaq on my 02 5.4 and didn't like the harsh shifts at all. And it was winding the engine up too much before shifts. Winding my 5.4 past 4500rpm is more than useless. It slows the acceleration.

Why do you keep reposting the same question all over the board? All you are accomplishing is aggravating the moderators. If there's anyone here who can help you, they will see this thread and reply to it.
The way I see it, if you are using the performance tune, leave it alone and don't mess with the transmission parameters. The 4.2 is far from being a powerhouse and all you will do by trying to adjust the transmission, in addition to using the performance tune, is risk damage to the transmission.
The RIGHT way to do what you want is spend some money, buy a SCT programmer along with CUSTOM tunes from one of the better mail order tuning houses.
