SCT programmer

I have a SCT programmer that I forgot I had. I traded off my 2011 F150 with the 5.0 V8 last June. I did put the stock program back in the truck before I let it go. It has three tunes in it. If I remember correctly it has Five Star tunes of 87, tow, and 93. Is this worth selling or should I toss it out?

What do you have for a vehicle now? Are they canned tunes or custom tunes?

2017 Ram Rebel. The tunes were provided by 5 Star. He created them based off the VIN. I'm not sure if that is custom or canned. I do know they work good.

Those are custom tunes, written for your old truck. They will NOT work in any other vehicle. But, someone who buys the SCT programmer should be able to get custom tunes written for their vehicle and there is possibly a way to return the programmer to the "canned" tune state too, so that it would work on another Ford truck even without custom tunes added.

I suggest you talk to 5-Star about this, they would know how to restore it to the "factory" state.
