My original code when I got my Superchip(original blue) was FOU1. I took it off when gas got above $4 a while back. Anyway, I think the ECU has changed at least once since then, and any more than that I have no idea. I wasn't the guardian of my truck for 3 years, so there's NO telling what shops have done to it in my absence. My year old engine is broken in, gas is cheap, and I am ready to start installing the stuff I bought 10 years ago and never did. Well, the chip was in, but the pulley set has been waiting a WHILE!!

My main question is, can I still plug my chip back in? Is there any chance the FOU1 is long gone, or does it keep that code for the life of the truck? The "new" computer has no indication of what it is, just a blank silver box, but the gummy stuff has never been removed from the plug in point on the back.,,,,98
