I am expecting delivery of my x4 today and will be sending the order form to mpt this evening for my custom tunes. My question is.... can I go ahead and play with my new toy today with the canned tunes and still use the custom tunes when I receive them? Is there anything I would have to do prior to uploading the custom tunes on the truck? Should I go ahead and change for my tire size with the tuner today or just wait for the custom tunes?

Go ahead and play with the preloaded tunes while you wait on the custom tunes to be ready. Its totally fine to adjust for tire size on there as well. Tire revs per mile for a 305/55/20 tire should be about 605.
