I have a 2004 FX4 with the 5.4L and am in the process of doing a lockout. I have an Edge Evolution cs programmer and my question is; is there a program that can be downloaded to the CS programmer or will I have to purchase another one?
The guy that is doing the lockout takes the truck to a guy that uses SCT and he will put a tune in it. I will most likely get a handheld unit to go with it.

Interested in any input or suggestions. Truck has 135,000 miles on it and no problems except the cam phasers that I am aware of.

Make sure you return the tune to STOCK and pull the Edge before you have that work done. That way you can sell the Edge and it will be unlocked.
