I've been tuning for years but we're just breaking into the realm of Fords. One thing that is driving me batty, is how many darn Box codes/strategies/ECMs there are for each year/model & engine combination. I'm trying to determine how easy it is to swap between vehicles that have different box codes. Anyone have some decent resources for information in this for 2006+ vehicles.

Example: If I have a 2009 ECU from an F150 4.6L, can I reprogram it for 5.4L usage?
