thoughts before i buy

im looking at a chip instead of a tuner for my 2000 5.4 until I get the money for a tuner. anyone have opinions on Peak Performance brand? promises 150 hp and up to 30 mpg which I doubt that. but any input would be helpful

Do not waste your money on that. Save it for a real tuner.
If it was that simple to add 150 horses and get 30 mpg , everyone would have done it by now.

I bought a used superchips programmer from a member of this site and I'm very happy with it.
