Will gear swap affect speedometer?

Looking to change my gears from 3:73 to 4:10 on my 2012 F150 6.2. Will this affect my speedometer? Where is the speed sensor located? Can I fix this with the SCT X3? Should I change my shift points?

The speed pickup is in the transmission and can be adjusted by the SCT.

No, you should not change your shift points. Just correct the speedometer. Adjust it till the SCT's speed readout (not the speedometer) agrees with a GPS.

By the way, 3.73's to 4.10's are not worth the expense. 4.56's, that's worth it.

Not looking to go with 4:56 because I'm staying with stock tire size. Just looking for better launch on the strip.
