Edge CS Custom Tuning

I have done some searching and havent come up with much. Is there anyone out there other than PHP that does Custom Tuning for the Edge CS?

NO.

PHP will ONLY do them IF you were Grandfathered in by being previous custom tuned customer.

Wellsir -if'n yall kin tolerate the canned tunin' on the device, go fer it. But - do NOT pay a lot for it, since it IS dead-ended in terms of applying any custom calibrations ( at least until EDGE comes to their phookin' senses - not holding my breath on that one )....

IF not, I'd not buy it, and look fer an SCT X3 or SF3. New with 3-5 custom calibrations Included - ~$400 - WITH a full warranty.

Need gauges? Buy a Scanguage II.

Hate to say it, but the days of custom tuning Edge devices are probably over.

SCT is what I had with my last ford and loved it. Whom would you recommend for SCT tuning? MPT, 5Star?

Yep. In addition to VMP, PHP ( yes they do SCT custom), and Troyer Performance. There are also a few more - but fer boosted folks predominantly - JDM, JJ @ Woodbine (TJ's fav'rit, lol).

Read some of the reviews we have on file here - ask around some more, call them directly and talk to them... then decide.

Unless it's a 15051 Evo (04-08) - they still do those....

I'd avoid Troyer unless you want to wait months for your tunes.

Would any SCT owners like to share their opinions?

I'm one - what would you like to know?

I use Troyer and VMP at the moment - both superlative tuning.

My DD tune is an 87 max tow tune. Datalogged - dead-nuts perfect right out of the box. I seldom use the premium tunes I also have, as I've found this one is excellent all-'round.

And on trips I need not worry about locating quality premium fuel and having to reflash due to lack of same.

I personally do NOT recommend *****-nilly reflashing - Murphy dictates that will be the time the PCM gets borked - in the middle of Hillfolk Kuntry and wiffout a shotgun ( queue up theDeliverance theme song )

Like I mentioned earlier - many reviews are on here already - take Advanced Search fer a spin...
