Question drive by wire "tuner"

Does anybody know anything about the drive by wire plug an play adapters that are out there for 2013 f150 or any vehicle that has drive by wire???

I know I was watching a automotive show recently and they covered a company that has a "tuner" for the drive by wire. It makes the pedal and the butterfly more linear in movement. Apparently the auto manuf puts a lag in the pedal.

Not sure if this is right place to post this question???

What is the product? I read somewhere about a module or something that made the pedal more responsive. I've almost been killed a few times on the freeway hitting the go pedal and just waited for some kind of response.......It is dangerous.

That's my problem I don't remember the name of company or product name.

Honestly any modification of any vehicle can be dangerous,, some more then others.

Yes I would agree this idea is more dangerous. Toyota found that out the hard way!!!!!! on their prius.

That's one of the things I was wondering about ,, on the drive by wire,, how reliable are they and the LAGGGGGGGGG they impart to the GO pedal.

I think it would be a lot safer - and there will be more benefits - if you get a SCT programmer with custom tunes. Address the pedal response issue with the tuner.
