Edge evo questions

I have a 2004 fx4 5.4 with the edge evolution. My mpg at the pump says 16 mpg, my evo reads 17mpg. My speedo reads 50mph, my evo reads 47mph. I just got the newest update so I will see how that changes the readings. So far on my trip today, the evo still reads low on mph. I put in 2559 for tire size because I have 275/65/18. Any reason for this?

Did you account for squish in the tires.....

Why'd you update.....shouldnt really have to....no changes have been made to the f150's programming...

You may be able to get it a little closer by adjusting for squish, but the Evo will always read 2 to 3 mph slower than the speedo at 60 to 70 mph. Ford calibrated the speedo to read 2 mph fast.

I got it off craigslist for 100 bucks from a guy who had it on his truck a while back. I didn't know if it had been updated so I called edge and they said there is an update out from 09. I figured I didn't know if the guy had updated it so I went ahead and updated. Now it's only 1 mph off... We will see what the mpgs look like.

So as far as squish goes, what should I put in? Like 2556 or something?
