edge cs unit not powering up

edge cs unit not powering up

Started my truck this cold am and nothing. my Edge cs unit has nothing. Has anyone ever experianced this or is it just fried? Just figured id ask i couldnt find a fuse or reset buttion on the unit. Thinkin im screwed. Thanks in advance guys.

Have you checked your cigarette lighter fuse?

From: pittsburgh pa.
try to unplug it from the obt2 and plug it back in and see if that works

It was the ciggi lighter fuse! Thanks guys! Never would of thought they were both powered off that fuse and i never use my ciggi lighter so makes perfect sense!

ya , I've had a few instances of the CTS in my truck not comeing to life when I start the truck in the cold
it has always started working on the restart a few min later at the gas station or coffie shop though so I think it may well be temperature sensitive
