If you are going to have the truck custom tuned on a dyno talk to the tuner and see what he prefers to work with. If not I liked my Diablo Sport Predator witch is now their InTune.

not to be recomending it over others , but for what I wanted I do like my edge cts

the little bit of power it added took my 01 5.4 s-cab from being a bit of a slug to "feels right"

now I can push on the gas and actually speed up without kicking it down and reving the heck out of it makeing lots of noise for little return

the truck feels like it should have from the begining now

it's nice they add features from time to time too with the updates but so far data loging seems a fail as everytime I've tryed I get the message that their "my style site has stoped working"
so ..I've never been able to get my info out of it

one thing I don't like though is the mounting system - it's far to easy for some crack head to reach in the window and swipe it thinkin he's gonna sell another gps for a rock to smoke

I wish I had known about Power Hungry Performance - BEFORE I bought it though as I would have probably got one from then instead

if the edge is what you decide to get shop around - there's no reason to be paying more than ya need to
I got mine from e-trailer and for the total delivered to the door I paid less than some places list it for
there's one thing to add though
at the time I bought it the listing info for the mounting pod was wrong (last spring)- I had to send back the '04 mount pod that was sent - the part # was listed as the fit for the '01 I have but it was the wrong part
sorry I don't have the box handy just now or I'd add the correct part number to this post

ok , the edge people say there's 4 power settings but #1 is stone colds stock - so really you only get 3
#1 is a trans cal only
#2 is a RV setting - not sure what it really gives you
#3 is their "extreame" setting (35 ish hp they say) and trans shifts that make you think maybe I shouldn't beat on this thing too hard

interestingly , the best mileage I get is in the extreame setting driveing at 40-55 mph
after 55 it starts going down again
I think it's 'cause the truck dosen't work as hard to maintain speed

For what you are looking for, an Edge/Gryphon CS/CTS or a SCT X3 with custom tunes would be best.
