What to do with my .MTF custom tune file?

So, I got an updated tune from VMP to try out since my 87 tunes caused some horrible detonation. I went to go load it into the SCT X3, and it's telling me that the file isn't compatible.

What am I supposed to do with this? I really wanted to work on my truck this weekend, and I know VMP doesn't respond to emails, so I have to wait until Monday to call them.

Anyone able to convert this thing into something useable, or point me in a direction to where I can use it.

This whole thing has been a complete pain in the ***, and I'm about ready to just return it.

SCT tunes usually are written in .cef or .ll3 extension formats so sounds like they used wrong extension by mistake. I'm sure they will fix it no problem, just have to call them.

That's the Advantage / Pro Racer file format. So - hang onto it.

Yep - they can supply the format you need.
