5Star 87 octane vs. 93 octane program

Now that gas is falling a little, a quick question. I am running Mike's 87 octane performance / tow program and love it. What will the 93 octane version get me? Thanks in advance.

The difference for me (87 vs 91) is significant. Both performance and mpg. MPG not so much city, but definitely highway. Just do it and report back. Just remember to get as much of the 87 out of your tank as possible so you aint pingin'!

I sprung the $65 and got the tune. Trying to run out 38 gallons of 87 octane now. Pumped a little over 28 gallons last night of 93. By the end of this week I will need at least a quarter of a tank of gas. I will fill it up and program it in. See what I bought.

Update. Loaded the 5Star 93 octane performance / tow tune yesterday. So far I have about 100 miles. Much better than the 87 octane performance / tow tune, which was still no slouch itself. Did not take nearly as long to load the tune. I am guessing that the transmission program was already there and only the ECU was flashed. A lot stronger pull and pulls all the way to about 4500-5000 it seems. A nice flat torque curve. One thing that may be fooling me is the current weather. As mentioned in another post this is north Alabama. Today was an unusually cool day with low humidity. Currently it is 63 degrees w/ 27% humidity. Both very low by our standards for this time of year. Still worth every penny. I wonder what the dyno numbers are?
