Question Black Clip that holds Computer in place

I ordered a chip earlier this week. I have been reading about installing the chip and looking at pictures. The one thing I don't see anything about, is how is that black clip that holds the computer in the bracket, going to fit over the superchip?? The chip looks like it's going to be in the way, since the clip fits snug against the computer right now. Am I missing something? Thanks for any help!!

The clip snaps into a track and can easily be positioned on the computer to clear the chip.

When you pop the clip off, you will see that you can place it higher up on the computer when you re-install it.

What he said, place the clip to one side of the chip...It won't go in same exact place. It took me a few minutes to figure it out too.

Hi everyone,

Thanks to Toby & dirt bike dave for helping Nuftime out, that is what F-150 Online is all about.

Nuftime, we go over that in our additional Performance Products documentation that comes with each Superchip we ship, but if you have any questions about the installation, etc., just give us a shout, email or phone & we'll be happy to assist.

Have fun & good luck!
