Personally, I don't think I can easily distinguish between the Edge Level 3 tune and Bill's Custom 93 tune - both shift great (now), both can spin the tires from a start (not due to more power necessarily, but by removing the torque management on tip-in), and both give noticeably more torque in the midrange. I can tow with my custom tune from PHP and cannot with my CTS level 3 tune though (my custom tune has a little less timing and runs a little richer under load). Bill did give me the option to adjust my overall timing and WOT timing through my tuner's custom interface, which is very nice. I don't think he has released this feature broadly, but if you have had pinging issues like I have had, maybe he will add it for you.

One more thing, my custom tune has torque management enabled on shift. I suspect that the Edge level 3 tune has it disabled altogether. I wanted it enabled, especially for towing.
How did you go about getting Bill to give you access to timing? I have an 09 with their custom tunes and it seems that they cannot get rid of the pinging. This is the third time that they have supposedly fixed the tunes and its now getting frustrating looking at this brick on my dashboard.

Never had an issue with Bill and his tunes and he has gone out of his way when I Installed my long tubes and needed a little tune tweaking. Had an issue with the load and he personally adjusted my tunes while on the phone and we got things figured out. He didn't even charge me.

PHP is a top notch company and has excellent customer service in my book.

I think some of you guys want custom tunes from the Burger King drive thru.

Considering I've been fighting with this since October of last year, I don't think I'm wanting tunes from burger king. I just want what I paid for. I don't have the pleasure of spending all day trying to talk to a live person when they are there. Tried live live chat and nobody ever seems to be on there. Tried sending numerous emails and only one has been answered by Codey. I can see how some people can be disgusted with this company. I'm on the way of being there.

RedFX4. The laughable thing is you even PM'd me asking to use my post as material for a future sticky on how to write detailed posts on the issue your having. I really would have thought that would give me a leg up in getting the issue resolved. Guess not.

Based on your description it sounds to me like it is mechanical and still does. I've asked Cody to review the issue and he'll probably chime in when he has time, but it will be on the PHP forum.

After multiple discussions with Bill, he enabled it as an experiment. I suspect he would do the same for you.
