I just got my tuner back about 3 days ago. Got my tunes downloaded this morning. I can't believe the difference it made. I ran the canned gryphon tunes till my custom ones were ready for download. I almost think there is 2 engines under the hood since I went the custom route. I can see it's gonna take some time to get used to. I really have to watch my speed cause now I'm going 90 when I look down instead of 70. I got a custom 87 performance and custom 87 towing, but I've only ran the performance tune so far. I sent it off probably about 3 weeks ago so it didn't take them long at all to get to it.

 

That is a good deal! I ran their custom 87 Perf tune for about 65,000 miles on my 2005. Would not drive it without it once I had it.

 

I run 87 performance on my gryphon CS. about 16mpg with 35s and 4.56s. I'm not complaining

That added power can get you into some trouble if you are not careful.

 

I ran my custom tunes for about a year and a half when i had to send the Gryphon back to PHP due to a problem with the cable. I had to wind up running it stock for two months after i had other non-tuner related problems. Finally got the tuner and tunes reloaded about a month ago. I can honestly say i hated driving the truck without tunes... it was just horrible... hated. PHP tunes rock!!
