Question Looking for a reputable tuner in Mass.

I had a few things done, and now I need someone with a dyno to do a custom tune on my SCT that I originally had done by Troyer. Since Troyer has decided not to answer my emails, I need to look local. I am located in SE Mass, and will travel a bit for a decent tune. I trust forums like this for some good advice, so let me know who has some good experiences,(or bad). Thanks in advance.

I haven't heard of any recommended ones, I'd love to have my truck tuned vs the email tune I have now.

You would be better off hitting the phone book and calling all the performance shops and then stopping by and checking them out in person to find a good one where you are.

Try picking up the phone and calling Troyer. I wouldn't trust too many people to tune these truck besides him and a few others.

I don't have a tuner for my truck but a bunch of guys I know all use Mike at 5 Star Tuned. They have just talked to him a bunch and then a week later they get it in the mail and everyone has been very impressed with the quality of his work.

Try 5 Star or VMP.

There are several here in NH, one is Performance Dyno in Louden, another is Dyno-mite Dynamometer in Concord. Couldn't tell you how they are, but I know Dyno-mite's shop looks clean and newer, and it's a huge warehouse, right near FW Webb on Henniker street. Make a nice Saturday of it!

Thanks for the info. Might just have to come up. Used to go to the Nascar races up there for years.

Sent VMP an email, but got no reply. I am done with Troyer. I don't have the patience for people who forget about you after they get your money.

I was just in Louden the other week for the race I want a dyno tune, but the tuners who don't usually tune these trucks often struggle. There are numerous threads that had issues with Mustang tuners fowling up the F150 tunes. I wish one of the big Ford tuners was in NE. If we get enough people, we CAN get Bill at PHP to come out and use a dyno we rent. I started a thread a while ago gauging interest, and it was ignored.

Thanks again for all of the replies. I went with Justin at VMP. Just installed the tune last night. What a difference. He did a great job. I would recommend spending the $60 in a heartbeat.

I know you got it tuned now, but in the future if you are looking to get your truck on the dyno mass diesel is in Massachusetts. They have a dyno, not sure of a phone number, but they have a website!
