I bought a used X3 off here (thanks digbyz) and Mike from 5Star had the tunes I requested in my email the very next morning after I gave him the serial #. I loaded them up and everything runs great, and the transmission is the best part! It holds the gear longer and the loss of power feel between shifts is gone. Im running the 87 perf/tow right now and trying to hold off on running the 93 tune as long as I can, because once I load that on I know I wont go back

Just curious, what did you pay for the used tuner and what do the custom tunes cost. I'm looking at buying a used one and just want to know what people are getting. Also which custom tunes did you get? Thanks

 

I paid $200 shipped for the unmarried X3 and Mike charged me $180 for the tunes...

Ive only ran the 87 perf to date, and love it. I also gained ~1mpg with it as well, and that was cruise set at 60mph on the same road I take to work everyday, so I know its a true gain not a difference in driving style or terrain
