egde evo 2002 crew terms cond coutdown error

I have a edge that that i have had for 6 years no issue. Today i replaced amp wire and removed battery cable. Now i am getting a error about terms and cond with a counter that is counting down from 200 somthing. It will still let me un tune my tow setting and retune all 3 settings (+ stock). Can anyone tell me what the deal is...

I am sure i no longer have the paper work, but i am looking.. The last time i saw it was a few years ago and two trucks ago... Last year i traded in my 01 for the 02 because 100k less miles and my 01 needed 3k worth work to pass inspection.

So I called Edge today and I was told that I need to send my programmer in and have them fix the issue. They have never see the warning screen with 250 counter, it should be set to only do the warning 4 times. The fix and upgrade will cost me $99. I was told since mine is over 6 years old they will mostly upgrade mine to the newer 51010 that uses the newer internet software, or I could pay $200 something and get the CT model or $300 and the CTS.

The upgrade would let me use the new one on more trucks (GM and Ford up to 2011). Look much nicer.

My questions are:
Is it worth the extra money for a newer style?
Will the newer ones show Tranny Temps on my 2002 5.4 F150?
If I do not plan on getting back up cam, is there any thing that the CTS will do that I might want to send the extra $100 on?

Thanks!

Yes its worth the upgrade to get rid of the 97-03+04h cable issue......possibly what your issue started out to be is that you did not unplug the programmer when you disconnected the battery cable......

Is the extra $100 worth going to the CST over the CS? I will most likly never go with the back up cam, I could plug in a DVD player from the kids in the back, but that is about it...
