Manual transmission swap ECM fix

I installed a zf5 in my 01 expe. I think the ECM is confused and detuning the engine for transmission "limp" mode. Who can reprogram my computer and how long does it take? The truck is my daily driver and I need it to get to work. Could one from an f250 be used? I read that it would have to be the same series, but I am unsure of how to check that. Anyone have any ideas?

How do I go about finding a reputable tuner? Are there any in Ohio? I still am confused about what is involved with this. How much to purchase such a device?

Thank you,

You could use a device like our U7153 Predator, and get a custom tune for the swap.

You could either bring the vehicle to one of our tuning shops and have them do it in person, or email them a copy of the tune from the Predator, they can make the changes and email it back.

If you give me a ZIP code I'll tell you who in your area can help you out with a custom tune.

Thanks
