I am looking to get a chip for my 2003 F150 FX4 i dont really know anything about them. I would like to get a little more power any suggestions on a good chip?

 

You don't use "chips" these days, you use programmers.

Although a chip on a 2003 is a valid choice I would go with a programmer for more flexibility.

Vmptuning, 5startuning, Troyer performance.....sct SF3 along with custom tunes....


Diablo predator or trinity along with custom tunes....



Forget chips....programmers are the right device to use.....

 

The Hypertech Max Energy programmer is a good programmer for the 2003 F150. It offers tuning for 87 octane & 91 octane. It will adjust shift points, rev limiter, shift firmness, speed limiter, and recalibrate the speedometer and odometer for different tire sizes or gear ratios. The part number is a 42000.
