Well I picked up a gryphon with custom tunes on it from another member. Went to plug it up and load a custom tune to my truck, and at the end of the load an F1 error appears, "this vehicle calibration is not yet supported". I've started researching and so far I've gathered the reason they won't load is because our trucks have different hex codes. And I would need to get the custom tunes rewritten for my hex code? can anyone give me some insight on this? Im pretty sure they won't work on mine, but want to be sure before I wipe it and put the canned php tunes on it.

Found my absolute answer finally, sorry for the new thread guys just disregard it.

 

I'm going to close this thread with a small explanation to any new members who might read it and not understand what happened.

Custom tunes will only work on the truck they are written for. The program in he programmer BlackOut07 bought from another member was set up to work only with the truck it was removed from.

BlackOut, you can easily restore the canned tunes in that Gryphon so that it will work on your truck, at no cost to you. If you need instructions, please PM me. (Let me know if you have the monochrome Gryphon or the newer CS/CTS platform if you do so.)
