diablosport predator questions

good morning guys,

I just recently purchased a used predator programmer for my 02 f150 and was wondering if anyone could help walk me through how to update/ how to see what the previous owner had the performance tune set at and over all how to use this product. i searched for a link on this and could not find anything in detail since this is my first programmer i would really feel better about using it hearing from people who have used them before so i dont go in and randomly make changes that could hurt my vehicle. Is ther a way to just set it to the 93 octane setting i did not see one when i installed all i saw was a perfomance tune setting.

thanks in advance!

DiabloMike works for them and if he doesn't see this and chime in here, PM him.

You need the DSDownloader program from our website to send the updae from your PC to the Predator.

The step by step update instructions can be found here:

What is the current revision on the top line of the main menu?

Thanks

You should run it down to almost empty and fill it with 93 *BEFORE* loading a 93 octane tune.

I usually wait till the light is on to fill it.....then run it for a little to clear the lines....then load the tune.....

ran it out of 87 untill the fuel light came on filled her up with 93 reloaded the tune and man was a huge difference the truck has a ton more power. It even chirped the tires into second gear. Im not one to beat the hell out of my truck but it was so much fun i couldnt keep my foot out of the throttle. next im going to read up on making the shifts a little harder it has a firmness percentage between each gear any one have any suggestions.
by the way thanks for all the help guys!

Make your adjustments in small incriments and write down what you adjust and how much.....good luck and be safe

BTW....the chirp you heard might have been from your serpentine belt during the load transition between shifts....a gatorback belt will cure that....

Awesome to hear, glad you are enjoying it.

As mentioned, make changes in small increments, but line pressure is entirely up to you and how you like it, we won't let you add more than is reasonable
