Edge Evolution Dead??

I finally got a chance to borrow one for a hauling trip and fell in love... so I go to check online and can't find one in captivity anywhere. Are they no more?

Read the last 16 pages and got back to where people were still getting them but nobody really says if they are made in runs or are made at all.

All I really want is the gauges and the shifting, on a "stupid" 2V there isn't a whole lot to play with powerwise anyway. I changed tires (and used the speedo as an excuse to borrow the tuner) so my butt dyno was thrown all out of wack over it, but I have towed much more with the bigger tires and got along fine. The truck had the power to do what I wanted before, but just wasn't set up to shift right with a load on... and it was never so plainly obvious until after I plugged the tuner in.

The CS or CST really do nothing for me, they look stupid with the suction cup mount and require an adaptor kit and pod (to be modified) on top of their already premium price to mount like the regular ol' Evo. Status quo is more than fine before I shell out $500+ for a tuner and a way to make it look decent.

2002 F-150 5.4 4x4 with the Gotts intake and true duals with no plans to do more than that, like I said power is fine

You do not want an Evo for an 02, they have bad data cables.

Hmm, a couple years ago when I was active on here and they (along with the XcalII) were the big thing I don't recall it being a big deal.

I almost got one when they bumped the price from $300 to $400 a couple years ago but held off because then I was still paying for the truck. My brother got one in April for $350 for his '97 4.6 and I just figured I would try his at some point and get one if I liked it (and I did) 4 months after he got his nobody has them.

Guess I better throw a pod on my next Summit order while I can still get one and wait/hope/pray they keep the 97-03 CS around long enough for it to go down in price.

the Gryphon CS or the SCT Livewire are what you are looking for since you want the "guages"
