recommendations for a programmer

so i need a recommendation for a programmer now because i had already bought a edge evo and had to return it after talking to the guys over at edge about me not being able to get it to work properly.
.
i got the cs for my 2010 4.6l stx 4x4 and had come to find out i could not use it because i have a 4.6l 2v engine and they only have the parameters and tuning for the 4.6l 3v engine at the moment. so they said i have an oddball engine stlye for my truck. i have since looked into gryphon but it seems they only have programmers for up to 2008 model years. i refuse to get a superchips.

so basically im asking am i screwed until edge releases a tune for the engine i have, or do i have another option? they said they will eventually have one but it could be months before that happens. and id rather not get a programmer with a tune package that is brand new in case theres any bugs in it so to speak. so any input will help very much. thanks guys.

Your only other reasonable option if you refuse to get a SCT would be Diablo.

i also just checked out diablo now having never heard of them before. is it worth it for the money? what would one expect as far as horsepower, torque, fuel savings? anyone have one of these? price seems a little steep at 600 dollars. it better work miracles for that price, at least compared to 400 for the edge evo cs, had it worked for me.

We just released support for the 09-10 F150s this week in the Trinity.

It is an awesome tuner, with tons of features and functions, plus it has solid tunes for different octanes, with CAI tunes coming really soon.
Gains are 15-20 rwhp on average.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks

Mike - I know the OP has the old 4 speed tranny, but does the Trinity tune the TCM with the 6 speed?

Not yet...we didn't want to hold up the release while TCM was still in development, but it will come soon.

Thanks

I want to know what's wrong with the SCT that he refuses to get one. I've had one for 4 years and it's been great!

You do know that Edge and Superchips are owned by the same company. From what I understand the programming is very similiar now as well....

Go with SCT. They are on the cutting edge of tuning software. It is not the same company as Superchips, which apparently some people don't realize from posts in this thread.
