Truck sitting for 2 weeks, Gryphon

Ok, i have to fly out Monday for work out of town for two weeks. Would it be benefical to unplug the Gryphon from the OBD2 port under the dash? Does it actually use any power while the truck is not being used? I know i came back after one two week trip and the battery was dead. I had not left any lights on or anything, and had no indication before i left the battery was going south. I jumped it, drove it home, and it started fine. Had that battery tested and it was fine, actually lasted another year and a half.
So, unplug the Gryphon or it doesn't matter?

Yes unplug it if you let it set that long. It does draw power even turned off. Thats the reason I bought a solar charger and have it in my window plugged in. My truck sets for 3-4 weeks at a time.

I recommend the solar charger too.... I use it every time the truck is shut off at school or at work or at home. It's called parasitel loss or something I think? (the draw of the Gryphon or accessories)

Yep, parasitic loss.

I've also got a small solar charger that sits on my dash. For $30 they are pretty handy. I use mine for all kinds of stuff.
