Tuner for better gas mileage?

I know everybody here wants more HP. I dont care as much as this is a truck. When i want HP i jump into my 1100hp Supra Which tuner/programmer do you guys recommend that can improve gas mileage. My truck is an 06 4x4. The truck will have 35" tires, and simple exhaust and intake. I dont care about having the tuner connected at all times to view different parameters. Just a simple plug in flash and remove device. All inputs appreciated.

There are over 240 threads in this forum (Chips, Tuners & Programming) that reference MPG. How many have you read?

In short, none of them will give you better MPG.

The number is actually up to 249 right now. You probably used an older statistic.

Your driving a 5000 pound brick. Your 1100 hp supra will probably get better mileage...FYI, that'd be my daily driver if I had one.

you said mileage and 35 inch tires in the same question

if you're worried about mileage purchase a prius (nothing screams enviromental friend more than a trunk full of batteries)

honestly 4.56 gears and a custom tune with a gente foot (aka driver mod) will yield your best mileage results with the planned setup

Oh trust me, it is not like i am worried about it or that it will prevent me from driving it. The supra probably yields about 5mpg if i ran it on 36psi and floored it all the time

As far as the 4.56gears and "custom tune" which custom tune do you guys recommend?

BTW, here is the supra

So, with 1100 hp the Supra should be in the 12s, right?

LOL, that is very original

I never set my car up to be a dragster. For any of these cars to really rule the strip you need Mickey Thompsons on 15" on the back and skinnies upfront and these cars will dominate for car that you can drive to and right off the track. There are many many 7-9second supras with similar power ranges as mine. I have never cared about the strip since the closes to me is a 100miles away at least. But on the highway, 1L bikes have gone down

Here are a few videos to change your mind about what the Supra can do.

That car looks familiar, did you by chance live in Pensacola when you bought it? I recall seeing all the pics from the shippers picking it up on racingpensacola, and then seeing it drive around town.

Last girl that sat on my hood was the last girl I dumped .... and then I met my wife. She knew better.

As to mileage, I did see a noticeable improvement (contrary to some others) with my SC FP 1865 on the 87 Perf tune, however it was worse that stock with the MileageXS tune. To be fair, the dealer said that would likely be the case in this area.

The MileageXS tune maybe does help on long flat interstate.
