Hi I bought a edge cs and just got the pod to fit my f150 seems the left side will not stay firmly down in place. I was wondering if it was just my pod or others have this problem I push it down but down the road it pops up again just slightly. I had the old gryphon with a pod never used the bracket and it fit snug. Any help appreciated

Dave - I have the same model year truck as you and have had no problems using the pod that worked with the old monochrome Edge/Gryphon. If it doesn't fit, I'd suggest having Edge replace it.

Thanks guys will contact edge today and see what they say just never had this problem with my last pod on my old monochrome.

Dave, not only does it not fit right, the color is not right either. I wonder if Edge changed vendors and got what they deserved from the lowest bidder?

Possibly, though, it's a pod for a different truck? Maybe Govt Motors or Dodge?

Agree it doesn't seem to fit, but that IS the "correct" color. That's the color they come(and have been coming in) from Edge/PHP since they switched from the black ones.

 

Welcome for pix Called EDGE they said it was impossible to mount without the L bracket explained how I did before no problem and how others here are not using it he says impossible not designed that way said I need to use the L bracket if it dosnt work then call back. Not very happy I meanmy last one worked fine may order another one and return this one I dont know what to do?

Bull Manure on both the fit and finish comments. That pod you have IS NOT the correct one for a 04-08 truck!

Here are two pictures of mine, taken when it was holding the old Gryphon that I have since replaced with a CTS. Please notice how it both fits (without any "brackets") and how the color and texture matches my dash.




The exact same pod is holding my CTS in one of the interior pictures in my "garage". There, it seems to have a slightly different (warmer) color due to a reflection when I took that picture, but you can see how well it fits.

The pod you have is a different design!

Very true jack I beleive I will try to get another pod and see if it looks like yours when I get it. Will let you all know when I get it if its the right one.

I've had 3(2 from PHP and 1 from ebay(?) ) for 04-08 model years. None have been that color. They've all been the same color as david's. Edge even says if you want it to match, youll have to paint it yourself. But yea, the fit is definitely off.

Both have been perfect matches.....
So IDK.....
