New Edge Evo PIDs question

Bought a new Edge Evo not the CS OR CTS yesterday and its great. What are some of the more popular perameters (PIDs) to have up on the screen and maybe some i need to have up and keep an eye on? Not messing with custom stuff just the tire size.

Pick four - any four

My picks are bolded

• RPM
• MPH
• Engine Coolant Temp
• Engine Oil Temp
• Transmission Fluid Temp
• Cylinder Head Temp
• Air Intake Temp
Line Pressure Control Desired
• Fuel Rail Pressure
Output Shaft Speed
• Turbine Shaft Speed
• Manifold Air Flow
• Manifold Air Flow Sensor Voltage
Variable Cam Timing Actual Advance
• Spark Advance
Torque fuel/spark Limiting Status
• Fuel Economy
• Engine Load
• Accelerator Pedal Position
• Battery Voltage

Seriously - it's a personal choice. How would knowing MY choices help YOU?

So let me ask you this - which 4 would YOU choose?

Oh! Wait ! I don't even HAVE an Edge !!!

Pay no attention to MGD - looks like he's been hitting the sauce kinda early today.

However, I agree it's your choice. With the old Edge platform, I monitored CHT, TFT, Batt Voltage and Comm Gear. The gauges on the dash for temp and voltage are pretty poor, so I wanted to know what my real Cylinder Head Temp was as well as the Alternator Output (Batt Voltage) because I'm often towing a trailer with 2 additional batteries and a refrigerator. The Cylinder Head temp is what is monitored by a sensor and the coolant temperature is inferred from that, so I don't bother with coolant temp. The Transmission Temp is especially because I tow and the Gear and Torque Converter status is helpful when towing too.

hey 88racing, how are you liking the tuner you have? have you ever had any others on different trucks or that your first one? I have been looking at the edge evolution and the CS or CTS

I started out with the Gryphon from PHP along with custom tunes....
It's the evolution in the black case programmed by Bill@PHP....
Then I switched to the CTS from PHP still with custom tunes....
The CS and CTS have some draw backs over the original evolution/Gryphon platform but edge and PHP are working to get them back....

My 2003 was dyno tuned VIA a Diablo predator.....

Hi.

Pick one - find another PID for the other. ECT is inferred from CHT - it's actually only one physical sensor.

IAT is useful.
